wedding photography testimonials

Here are few comments from previous wedding photography clients. Some have been sent directly to me and others are listed on review sites, including Google reviews. Reading through some of them again, I see that the term 'unobtrusive' keeps cropping up. I really didn't write these myself so, if you want an unobtrusive photographer, I might have one of the qualities you are looking for!

If you'd like to discuss the plans for your wedding day please get in touch and we can arrange to meet up.

“Hi Dave, We saw the photos on Sunday, just before departing for a week in Wales. I felt a need to stop and tell you that we are absolutely delighted with your work and looking forward to getting the photos printed. Nina and Martin are also delighted with the photos of their girls in the flowers. Truly magical! We appreciate the time and care you took and will not hesitate to recommend you to anyone. Thank you and best wishes, Laura.”

“We were really fortunate to find Dave to be the photographer at our son's wedding. He could not have been more helpful from the outset right through to producing a wonderful album of the day and superb photos for family and friends.

He was at the bride's house in the morning to capture those lovely getting ready moments and stayed with us well into the evening to give a fantastic record of the day. He has a lovely calm and sensitive manner and manages to get superb shots in a very unobtrusive way.

We wanted a great service and great photos at great value and that is certainly what we got. Thank you again Dave for a wonderful record of a wonderful day - you captured the warmth and spirit perfectly.” Julia Parsons, mother of the groom.

bride and groom in Southover Gardens Lewes

corin and jon - southover gardens and pelham house, lewes.

“We had a fantastic honeymoon on the Isle of Harris which was hard to come back from, but receiving our disc with such lovely photos made it so much easier. Thank you! As neither of us think of ourselves as photogenic, or are very comfortable in front of a camera we were delighted to see that you had captured both us and the day very successfully (although Jon was shocked to discover he had even less hair than he thought!). Our particular favourites are the ones as we are leaving the ceremony room, the full length ones of the two of us inside the stone arch, then as we walked hand in hand along the grass between the flower beds.”

bride and groom in St Nicholas churchyard east sussex

jessica and phillip - st nicholas church and fabrica, brighton.

David covered our wedding day and was absolutely fantastic. He met us beforehand and put two very camera shy people at ease immediately. On the day he was unobtrusive, organised and inventive. We have so many lovely photos from our day, both traditional and unusual, despite some quite challenging conditions for him (bright sun so lots of squinting plus high winds so hair blowing everywhere). Several guests also commented on how friendly he was on the day and how he put people at ease, as well as saying that his photos reflect the day beautifully. The most important thing to us though, was that David really listened to what we wanted, took all the shots we hoped for but never made the day feel as though it was about the photos.

“Great wedding photographs! We didn't want to devote all our precious day to photography, so we constrained David on time and photo locations. He worked with us and produced fabulous results. His manner is pleasant, professional and unobtrusive. His creativity, experience and technical knowledge shows in the results. Don't take a chance on your wedding day, book this man! Marco & Laura”
